Kitchen & Baths
See how the BonnaVilla® kitchens and baths are designed to meet your needs every day.
You want your kitchen beautiful, but you also want a kitchen you can use everyday - one that is well planned for storage, has adequate work area and is built to last. Chief® Custom Homes takes all of these items into account by using brand name appliances, component cabinetry, high grade materials, several colors and décors and practical layouts.
The bathroom will have constant use and must be designed to give you the durability and the layout that suits your lifestyle. While the bathroom is a modern day necessity in every home, it also is a place to escape from the stresses of life and relax. With this in mind, Chief® Custom Homes strives to design bathrooms with practical elegance.
Appliances - Chief® Custom Homes uses quality Kenmore® appliances.

Custom Cabinetry - Cabinets are built with 1/2" side, back and bottom panels, 3/4" oak face frames. Virtually eliminating all unsightly staples, the cabinets are assembled by using dados with glue and pocket screws for all front stiles. A 5/8" adjustable shelf in the kitchen makes the cabinets very flexible to the individual homeowner.

Faucets and Sinks - Every homeowner can appreciate the convenience of the optional Moen® OneTouch™ faucet system and the tip-out sink fronts in the kitchen. Millenium Brass® faucets are a standard for BonnaVilla® bathrooms and feature all metal body, stems and bonnets.

Countertops - The laminate countertops feature a 6” tile backsplash.

Flangeless Tubs and Showers - Optional one-piece fiberglass tubs do not have flanges on them that must be covered with unsightly trim. Attaching the unit with a hidden block gives your bathroom a crisp appearance and keeps trim away from potential water damage. Shower tile is available from DALTile.

Interiors

Homeowners have their own personal tastes when it comes to the details of their home. A house built by Chief® Custom Homes is built one detail at a time until the home is complete.
Flooring - The BonnaVilla® series features Brookstone® 16”x16” vinyl flooring in both the kitchen and bathroom. Living rooms are set with Level 1 Shaw® carpet. Entry and kitchen tile are available from Enter Ceramic.

Lighting - Options such as recessed canned lights, recessed fluorescent lights, wall-mounted sconce lights, pendants and ceiling fans are available for a truly custom lighting system. For ambient lighting, dimmer switches are also available.

Trim - Base and door trim is real ash, oak and pine wood (not paper wrapped), giving your home a beautiful hardwood appearance and helping against peeling and blemishes that occur with paper trim.

Interior Doors - Interior doors are a full 80" tall with a 1" floor to door clearance. Full butt hinges with pins rather than "butterfly" hinges are used along with all metal handles and plungers.

Exterior Doors - The standard front and rear doors on all homes are 6-panel fiberglass doors. The door has an all-steel frame and has a 36" x 80" core, which allows you to install a standard residential sized storm door of your choice. If eye appeal is your goal, consider an optional sidelight door.

Exteriors

Personalization and curb appeal are top priorities for BonnaVilla® exteriors. With a wide variety of high quality exterior finishes, you can give your home the appearance you desire. Whether your goal is low maintenance or aesthetics, the BonnaVilla® series has a wide selection of designs and materials from which to choose.
Shingles - BonnaVilla® uses Owens Corning® 30-year duration shingles. The dimensional shingles are fastened with shingle nails, not staples, to give the shingle more surface to keep it secure.
